For over a decade, Prairie Grove Farms has been committed to producing healthy, natural pork for families who value tasteful, healthy eating habits. Because we know it's an important piece of the lifestyle you maintain.
That's why we partner with Midwest stewards of the land who believe in - and operate under - the "Better Way" protocols: agreeing to NEVER use antibiotics or artificial growth stimulants, EVER, and always feeding a vegetarian diet (NO animal by-products in the diet). At the same time, we require our partners to care for their animals appropriately, and we follow processes that minimize our impact on the environment, including:
- Buying "local" whenever possible, to minimize transportation and fuel usage and reduce our overall carbon footprint.
- Use Recyclable materials as much as possible in packaging and marketing materials.
- Producing all of our Natural Pork products in a facility that is known for their exceptional practices concerning the humane treatment of animals.
We understand you demand health and great taste. But we also know it's important that we do things in a manner that respects the land, resources and people in the process. Not only is that a better way, it's the Prairie Grove Farms way, too.
